  1. What does the Complimentary Consultation include?
    An initial Consultation meeting is the opportunity for you to meet us, and for us to get to know you and your pet. During this time, we can gather information about your pet’s routine, overall temperament, and special needs. Typically the meeting is completed in approximately 45 minutes. If you – and your pet – feel comfortable choosing us; we can fill out forms, discuss payment options, and obtain copies of your keys for convenient service. 
  2. Is Burlingame Pet Sitting Licensed and Insured?
    We are certainly Licensed, Bonded, and Insured. We would be happy to show you copies during the Consultation. 
  3. What types of pets does Burlingame Pet Sitting provide services for?
    Our primary pet clients are cats during Small Pet Sitting Visits, little dogs (15 pounds or less) for Little Dog Boarding; however we also love caring for bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds during Small Pet Sitting Visits in your home.
  4. What are the Business Hours of Burlingame Pet Sitting?
    Our Business Hours are also our general service hours. Small Pet Sitting services are scheduled between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, with some evening hours scheduled for pets left alone overnight. Service and Visit periods are arranged for mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Early services before 9am or After Hours services needed after 6pm can be accommodated for an additional fee of $5.00 per visit. 
  5. Can Burlingame Pet Sitting always visit at the time we ask for?
    We certainly work to ensure that all of our client’s pets are cared for at the time they need it. We will schedule visits within a time frame and strive to arrive at that time; however, we must ask for you to allow a one hour adjustment in the case of inclement weather or traffic. For any pet that may need medication administered at a specific time, we will schedule accordingly. Please let us know at the time of your reservation if specific times of day are critical. 
  6. What is your Holiday Schedule?
    New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 
  7. What is the process for providing my keys to Burlingame Pet Sitting?
    Burlingame Pet Sitting asks that all customers utilize a key storage lock box that can hold a minimum of two sets of keys, or at least two duplicate keys to your home. The combination you choose, and the location of your lock box, will be entered into your private and secure Client Information Records. Read more about Key Storage Lox Boxes here.
  8. What are Burlingame Pet Sitting Cancellation and Refund Policies?

    We have different cancellation policies dependent upon the type of service scheduled. Because each customer and pet is important to us, we must schedule appointments and visits carefully. Our cancellation policies can be found on the Services & Rates page and at the bottom of each service page.
