What will be covered during the complimentary consultation?
The initial meeting lets us meet with you and your pet. We will gather information about their routine, their likes and dislikes and see how the pet responds to us. If it is a good fit. The initial consultation usually lasts about 45 mins. We will also pick up the keys at this time.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am licensed, insured and bonded.
What pets do you care for?
We are happy to take care of dogs and cats! We also care for bunnies, small critters such as hamsters, guinea pigs and birds. It really depends on if your pet loves us and wants us to look after them!
Do you do overnight house sitting?
Yes, we do overnight house sitting in our home. We will accept small dogs in our home. We will only take one dog at a time. Anything beyond that, we don’t think would allow for the care and attention that each dog needs. They would want to hang out with my two chihuahuas and be tolerant of cats. They would have free roam of the house unless they would prefer to snuggle somewhere private! There is some preliminary information required (up to date vaccinations) and a meet & greet to see if all are copacetic!!
What are your service hours?
Pets are generally visited between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Visits are divided into morning, midday and evening time periods.
When do I give you my keys? How do I get them back from you?
We will pick up your keys at the initial meet and greet appointment. We will make arrangements with you for how your keys will be returned. If you would prefer that we return them to you the following day in person, there is a $25 key return visit charge.
How do I pay you?
We accept cash or checks.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We appreciate 24 hours notice if canceling or rescheduling a visit, otherwise payment is due in full.
Refund Policy
Your payment is fully refundable up until seven days prior to the start of your pet sit. The exception to this is Holiday bookings. Payment is refundable up until fourteen days prior to your Holiday pet sit. For cancellations 13 days prior or less there is no refund.
